Welsh Water is to consult with its customers on how it should spend any surplus money it makes next year.

The not-for-profit company said it wanted opinions on how a projected sum of £30m should be used.

Options include cutting bills, helping struggling customers with payment, investing more in infrastructure and supporting community projects or investing money now to save in future.

The consultation will run over 10 weeks on the company's website.
