94 new ambulances after £10.3m Welsh Government investment


The Welsh Ambulance Service will receive 94 new ambulances following a £10.3m investment.

It will include 35 emergency ambulances, 13 rapid response vehicles, 42 for patient care services and four specialist vehicles.

The Welsh Government allocated the money as part of its final budget for 2016-17.

The service has 706 vehicles in its fleet, covering more than 8,000 square miles.
