A yellow "be aware" warning of snow and ice has been issued across much of Wales by the Met Office.

Predicted light sleet and snow may cause icy patches, with localised accumulations of up to 3cm (1.2in) of snow after 21:00 GMT on Sunday.

The areas affected are Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Anglesey, Pembrokeshire, Powys and Wrexham.

The warning lasts until 09:00 on Monday.

People should be aware of the "potential for difficult driving conditions and slippery surfaces", the Met Office warned.
