Winds of up to 80mph and rain has hit Wales, causing some disruption.

The M48 Severn Bridge reopened after the removal of a lorry which overturned near junction two on the A466 (Chepstow) early in the morning.

BBC Wales forecaster Sue Charles said gusts of 80mph (129km/h) have been recorded in north Wales due to Storm Gertrude with 2-4cm of rain likely.

The Met Office warning for strong wind ended at 18:00 GMT, but another for heavy rain is in effect until Saturday.
