79 City Link jobs to go in Wales after rescue talks fail
Seventy nine jobs will go at Welsh depots of collapsed delivery firm City Link after a bid to buy the company failed.
Administrators Ernst & Young, who took over running the firm on Christmas Eve, said the unnamed buyer's offer was not acceptable.
Just 10 posts will remain across the Taffs Well, Swansea and Gaerwen, Anglesey, sites to clear deliveries.
Across the UK, more than 2,300 staff will lose their jobs.
On Wednesday, a parcel delivery company in north Wales said it could offer a life line to former City Link staff in Wales.
It has already taken on a manager from the Gaerwen site and said it would talk to other workers in the new year about possible job opportunities.
