Strong winds force Welsh Mountain Zoo to shut on Monday

Strong winds have been causing some disruptions across Wales on Monday, including the closure of a zoo.

Among the bridges affected are the M48 Severn Bridge in Monmouthshire and the A55 Britannia Bridge at Anglesey where speed limits have been reduced.

Bosses at Colwyn Bay's Welsh Mountain Zoo say the strong winds have forced them to shut facilities.

Meanwhile, a yellow "be alert" warning for heavy rain is forecast for Tuesday in north Wales.
