A scheme to republish classic Welsh books that have gone out of print must continue getting public funding, says the Wales Book of the Year Winner, Jon Gower.

But some critics say financial support should be scrapped.

The Library of Wales series has now sold 50,000 copies but the Welsh Government is now facing a call to withdraw financial support from it.
