Stock exchange bomb plot: Cardiff community's view on men


Two men from Cardiff have been jailed for a total of almost 29 years for plotting to bomb the London Stock Exchange.

Abdul Miah, 25, and his 30-year-old brother Gurukanth Desai were part of a group of nine men sentenced for their role.

Miah was jailed for 16 years and 10 months while Desai was sentenced to 12 years.

Omar Latif, 28, also from Cardiff, admitted attending meetings with the intention of assisting others to prepare or commit acts of terrorism. He was jailed for 10 years and four months.

The three men lived in the Riverside area of the city.
