George Michael has postponed two concerts in Cardiff this weekend after falling ill.

The singer was to have played the city's Motorpoint Arena on Saturday and Sunday night as part of his Symphonica tour.

He recently missed dates in Vienna, London and Strasbourg after being diagnosed with pneumonia for which he is being treated.

His spokeswoman said rescheduled dates would be provided.

The former Wham! singer is accompanied by a symphony orchestra on the tour.

Earlier this month, the star played a special gig at the Royal Opera House in London which raised money for Sir Elton John's Aids Foundation.

A star-studded audience including Sir Elton, David Walliams, Kylie Minogue and James Corden.
