BBC National Orchestra of Wales plays for new conductor


The BBC National Orchestra of Wales has played for the first time with the Dane who will take over as its new conductor.

Thomas Søndergård, 41, will take up the baton officially when the current conductor leaves in September 2012.

But on Tuesday night the orchestra played with him at the helm.

Caroline Rigby went along during the rehearsal to meet him.
