Warden remembers Swansea Blitz


This weekend marks the 70th anniversary of the Swansea Blitz.

For three nights, tens of thousands of bombs destroyed the city centre. Many places were reduced to rubble and hundreds died.

Elaine Kidwell, 87, was an air raid warden at the time. She was just 17 and the youngest female warden in the country.

This is Elaine's story.
