Gwent Police plea on patient absconder, 19

Police say they have traced a 19-year-old patient who had absconded in Caerleon, south Wales.

Officers said they were concerned for the man's welfare after he left St Cadoc's Hospital on Wednesday 19 January without his medication.

However, they had said they did not consider him a risk to the public.

Gwent Police thanked the public for their assistance and said the patient had been located.
