A 24-year-old man found dead on Anglesey has been named by police as Edward Vaughan Thomas.

Detectives found Mr Thomas' body after being called by the ambulance service to an address at Llanddaniel Fab on the island at 1445 GMT on Saturday.

North Wales Police, who initially described his death as "unexplained", said on Monday that they are not now treating it as a crime.

An inquest has been opened and adjourned into Mr Thomas' death.

Police said officers have continued to liaise with the family.

The house in the village was still cordoned off on Sunday.

Initial inquiries were conducted and a post mortem examination was being arranged with a Home Office pathologist.
