Water supply expected to be restored to 200 Powys homes
Water supplies at around 200 homes in Powys are expected to be returning to normal on Monday after freezing conditions caused pipes to burst.
Welsh Water had hoped to restore supplies to the properties in St Harmon and Abbeycwmhir, near Rhayader, on Saturday.
A spokesman said it had been difficult locating bursts in the rural locations.
The company said it had four times as many engineers as usual working in the area on Sunday.
With the exception of the Powys homes and some "isolated" incidents, Welsh Water said "99.99%" of customers had water supplies restored by Sunday.
At the height of the problems, last Wednesday, thousands of properties were without water and 19 mobile water tankers were deployed across Wales.
About 3,000 homes in western Carmarthenshire were hit by problems at a reservoir and 2,000 in Llandrindod Wells, Powys, were also affected by the weather.
