Mildred Eldridge's 'remarkable' mural back on show

Help

A giant mural painted more than half a century ago by the first wife of the poet RS Thomas is going back on public display.

The art work called "The Dance of Life", made up of six large panels, will be permanently shown at Glyndwr University in Wrexham.

Although less well known than her husband, Mildred Eldridge's work is highly regarded by experts.

Following her death in 1991, RS Thomas married his second wife Betty five years later.

Roger Pinney had a look at the mural.
