Two men freed after fall under taxi in Merthyr Tydfil


South Wales Police are investigating after two men fell under a taxi outside a hotel in the early hours.

Emergency services were called to the Castle Hotel in Castle Street, Merthyr Tydfil, shortly after 0300 GMT.

Fire fighters used a hydraulic jack and wedges to free the pair from underneath the vehicle.

The men were taken to Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil. One man is thought to have chest and back injuries.
