Police hunt knifepoint robbers at Spa store

Police are hunting two men who robbed a store at knifepoint after threatening staff.

The pair attacked at the Spar on Llandudno Road, Rhos-on-Sea, Conwy, at around 2030 GMT on Wednesday.

They escaped with cash from the till. No-one was injured but staff were said to be left shaken.

Detectives are studying CCTV images and have appealed for people who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area to come forward.

Both attackers are described as slim and wearing dark clothing and each had his face covered.

One was described as wearing a dark coloured hooded coat with blue or grey sleeves with blue or silver stripes along the arms. He wore dark trousers and white trainers.

One of the pair was armed with a knife.

House-to-house inquiries were held nearby.
