Pedestrian dies in A470 incident near Nant Ddu

A pedestrian has been killed after being hit by a car near the Brecon Beacons.

South Wales Police said the incident happened at 2310 GMT on Saturday on the A470 between Nant Ddu Lodge and Llwyn Onn, near the Powys border.

They have appealed for witnesses, including anyone who saw a man walking along the road.

The man suffered fatal injuries after being hit by a grey Nissan Almera.

Police want to speak to the occupants of two vehicles, travelling south along the A470, who may have seen the man walking.

They also want to trace the driver of a vehicle, which was was towing a trailer.
