Crews rescue boy impaled on fence at Beaumaris

Emergency services have rescued a boy who was impaled on a fence spike.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to an address at Beaumaris on Anglesey in the early hours of Sunday.

They used cutting equipment to remove the spike from the fence, and the boy was taken by ambulance to hospital with the spike still in him.

Fire crews also followed the ambulance to the hospital in case they were required.
