Dunblane fatal crash driver named by police

A 25-year-old man who died in a collision on the A9 near Dunblane has been named.

Marek Majewski, from the Perth and Kinross area, was driving one of the three cars involved in the crash at about 18:25 on 20 April.

A 26-year-old woman who was a passenger in Mr Majewski's car remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A man has been charged in connection with the crash at the Keir roundabout.

Ion Rusu, 41, of no fixed abode, appeared in private at Stirling Sheriff Court on Monday accused of causing death by dangerous driving.

The A9 was closed in both directions for several hours after the crash.
