Safe stolen in raid on Forfar business

Police in Forfar have appealed for information after a business and home in the town were targeted by thieves.

A safe containing cash and fuel cards was stolen from Forfar Galvanisers in Carseview Road some time between 15:00 on 3 February and 07:40 the next day.

A three-figure sum of money, a gold Omega watch and two gold rings were stolen during a break-in at a house in Dundee Road.

Police said the theft took place between 13:00 and 15:45 on 3 February.
