The incident took place on the 17:52 Glasgow Queen Street to Dunblane service on Saturday 13 August.

British Transport Police said the man left the train at Stirling Railway Station following the assault.

The man was described as being in his mid-to-late 20s, about 5ft 10in tall, with short brown hair.

He was wearing a blue jumper, white T-shirt, blue/grey jacket with white shoulder panels and a grey-lined hood.
