Pedestrian killed in collision named

A pedestrian killed in a collision on the A90 north of Dundee has been named by police as Charles Kelly from Montrose.

The 55-year-old suffered fatal injuries after being struck by a lorry near Petterden at about 15:00 on Wednesday.

The northbound carriageway of the A90 was closed following the collision, with traffic diverted via Tealing.

Police Scotland said inquiries into the incident were continuing.
