Absconded prisoner David Arthur found by police

An inmate who absconded four days ago from Castle Huntly Prison near Dundee has been found by police.

David Arthur, 31, who was on a temporary period of leave, was last seen in Shore Road, Perth, at about 12:30 on Monday.

Police said he had convictions for violence and warned members of the public not to approach him but to contact the force.

He was found in the Paisley area.
