Crow Road 'hit-and-run' driver comes forward
The driver of a car involved in an alleged hit-and-run incident with a cyclist in Stirlingshire has come forward, police have confirmed.
The 35-year-old cyclist was allegedly knocked off his bike by a car on the B822 Crow Road on 16 September.
Police Scotland said a 26-year-old man from Glasgow had now identified himself as the driver.
He will be reported to the procurator fiscal at Stirling for various driving offences.
The cyclist was left lying on the ground with leg injuries following the incident and was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for treatment.
