Teenagers charged following blaze
Three 14-year-old boys have been charged following a blaze which caused significant damage to a building in a Falkirk village.
The fire happened at an empty property on Avonbridge Road in Slamannan on 12 June.
Police said the three teenagers have been charged with fireraising and will be reported to the Children's Panel.
PC Derek Wallace said officers took incidents of fireraising "very seriously".
He said: "Incidents such as these cause significant danger to those living nearby and to emergency personnel who attend, not to mention the large cost resulting from damage."
