Four in court over £97,000 Dundee drugs recovery

Four people have appeared in court in connection with the recovery of £97,000 of drugs from a property in Dundee.

Alan Roy Golding, 66, of Southsea, Hampshire, and Carole Ann Bissett, 68, of Bognor Regis, West Sussex appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court.

Kevin Craig, 39, and Wendy Massie, 30, both of Dundee, also faced two charges each of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.

All four made no plea or declaration during individual private hearings.

Their cases were continued for further examination and they were released on bail ahead of further proceedings.

Police in the city raided an address in the St Mary's area on 4 March and recovered Class A and B substances with an estimated street value of £97,000.

The arrests came as police announced that over £128,000 of drugs and £47,000 in cash have been seized in raids across Tayside in the last month as part of Operation Slate.

A total of 26 people have been charged with various offences as a result.
