Group subjected to 'unprovoked assault' in Falkirk

A man has been injured after an unprovoked assault on a group of people walking home from a night out in Falkirk.

Two men approached the group on Grahams Road, near the junction with Meeks Road, at around 03:00 on 30 January.

They then began assaulting members of the party, leaving a 22-year-old man requiring hospital treatment, although his injuries are not serious.

Police said the men were both white, in their mid 30s, and around 6ft tall.

Officers said one man had a shaved head and the other had short brown hair.

Police Scotland has appealed for witnesses to the incident which it described as an "unprovoked assault."
