Teenager seriously injured in Angus road collision

A male teenager has been seriously injured in a road traffic collision in Angus.

The 19-year-old's silver Vauxhall Corsa left the northbound junction of the A90 Forfar to Brechin Road and collided with a tree.

The incident happened at 07:30 near the Careston junction, Brechin.

Police said the man has been taken to Dundee's Ninewells Hospital with serious injuries and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
