Police have returned to the scene of a robbery at a Dundee store in which a member of staff was threatened with a weapon.

The Mini Mart in Teviotdale Avenue was targeted on 15 December.

Officers moved in to the area one week on to speak to local residents and others who might have information.

They said extensive inquiries have already been carried out and CCTV images reviewed. A description of a suspect has been issued.

Det Insp Nicky McGovern said: "This was a particularly alarming crime, in which the suspect made off with a three figure sum of money.

"I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious to speak to our officers and help us with our inquiries.

"The man responsible for the robbery is described as being between 17-18 years of age, 5ft 9in tall and he was wearing a grey hat, a dark hooded top, grey hooded jogging bottoms and blue trainers."
