Marjorie Rafferty dies after Carronshore crash
A 38-year-old woman involved in a car crash in Falkirk two days ago has died.
Majorie Rafferty, from Carronshore, was taken Forth Valley Royal Hospital after the accident, but died on Wednesday.
The collision between Ms Rafferty's Ford Focus and a Mercedes van happened shortly before 15:00 on Tuesday on Bothkennar Road, Carronshore.
Police Scotland said they were still investigating the cause of the crash and have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
Sgt Roddy MacMillan said: "This was a tragic incident and our condolences are with the family of Marjorie Rafferty.
"Our investigation into this collision is ongoing and we continue to appeal to the public for information.
"I urge motorists to take care when travelling on the roads especially at this time of year when visibility and driving conditions can be significantly impacted."
