Man in court over armed robbery at Broughty Ferry shop

A man has been charged in connection with an armed robbery at a corner shop in Broughty Ferry.

Cash, alcohol and tobacco were stolen from the Nisa convenience store on the corner of Gray Street and Queen Street at about 21:30 on Saturday, 3 January.

Police Scotland confirmed that a 53-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.

He is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court in due course.
