Denny town centre given £1.4m regeneration boost
The regeneration of Denny town centre has been given a £1.4m funding boost.
Falkirk Council was awarded the money as part of a Scottish government scheme to deliver large-scale improvements to deprived areas.
The award has been described as "a significant step forward for Denny, its residents and retailers".
Councillor Dennis Goldie said: "It demonstrates the significance of this project and comes as we are demolishing the last of the 1960s blocks."
He added: "This grant will be used to provide continued regeneration improvements and transform Denny town centre into a modern, attractive place to visit, shop, and do business in."
