Fire crews were called out to tackle a blaze at a stately home overlooking Blair Drummond Safari Park.

Firefighters arrived to find a "rapidly-developing fire" in the roof space of the two-storey detached property, near Stirling.

A spokesman said all occupants of the house had got out before crews arrived.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service group manager Martin Brandrick said the fire, which broke out at 11:30, was contained in the roof and top floor of the house.

He added that it took firefighters two hours to bring the blaze under control.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
