Marion Hosie named as A924 crash victim by police.

Marion Hosie, 80, has been named by police as the woman who died in a car crash near Pitlochry.

The pensioner was a passenger in a VW Golf which collided with a Vauxhall Insignia on the A924 Pitlochry to Killiecrankie Road at 16:00 on Tuesday.

The 69-year-old female driver of the Golf suffered chest and back injuries.

The other car's occupants - a 49-year-old male, and two passengers aged 77 and five - were also taken to hospital with more minor injuries.

The road was closed for several hours to allow crash investigators to examine the scene.

Police Scotland has appealed for witnesses.
