Two critically injured in crash on Forfar to Montrose road


Two men have been critically injured in a crash on the B9113 Forfar to Montrose road in Angus.

The collision was at 03:40, close to Quarrybank. Police said only one vehicle was involved.

The 20-year-old driver of the car and a 19-year-old passenger are being treated at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.

Two other people who were passengers in the black Peugeot 106 are not thought to have been seriously injured.

The road was closed to allow specialist traffic officers to investigate the crash but has now re-opened.

Police have asked anyone who witnessed the collision or has information about it to contact them by calling 101.
