Search for man who fell through ice on Dow Loch
Specialist police divers have joined the search for a man missing after he fell through ice on a loch in Perth and Kinross.
Emergency crews, two rescue helicopters and a water rescue team were called to Dow Loch near Lurg Loch, in the Cleish area, just before 15:00 on Monday.
The search was called off at midnight.
Police Scotland said divers had travelled to the area and were due to join the search efforts on Tuesday morning.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said crews had been working in very cold conditions for several hours.
A spokesman said firefighters had to travel to the area on foot as it is a considerable distance from the road, climbing a 150ft ridge to gain access to the loch.
