Thieves steal catalytic converters from caravans

Police in Perthshire are hunting three men who stole £6,000 worth of catalytic converters from motor homes.

A spokesman for Tayside Police said that the theft occurred between 0100 GMT and 0135 GMT on Wednesday at the Perthshire Caravan Company, on the A90.

The three men entered the premises and removed the converters from six motor homes before leaving in a white Ford Transit Connect van.

Police asked anyone with information to contact them.

The spokesman said: "All three men are of slim build and were wearing dark clothing, trainers, hooded tops with the hoods up, and all three had a scarf across their face."
