Police identify Loch Rannoch tree crash driver

A man who died after crashing his sports car into a tree has been named by police.

Grant Farquharson, from Edinburgh, was travelling along the B846 Kinloch Rannoch to Rannoch Station road when his car left the road.

The crash happened at about 1910 GMT on Sunday. No other vehicles were involved in the collision.

The 34-year-old, who was driving his black Mazda MX3, was found by a passing motorist.

Tayside Police said he died at the scene.

Officers said they wanted to hear from anyone who may have seen Mr Farquharson driving his car in the Kinloch Rannoch area before the crash.
