Man sought after Standburn house fire
A fire at a house near Falkirk may have been started deliberately, police have said.
Firefighters were called to the blaze on Main Street in the Standburn area at about 2200 GMT on Saturday after being alerted by local residents.
The property was significantly damaged in the fire, police said.
Officers now want to identify a man who was seen in the area at the time of the blaze. He is described as 5ft 9in, of medium build and carrying a rucksack.
The man was wearing a black hat or hood and was carrying two large black bags. He was last seen walking in the direction of the Bowhouse Roundabout.
Central Scotland Police said they also wanted to trace the driver of a large white vehicle, which was seen parked in Main Street at about 1800 GMT on Saturday.
