A Grangemouth road bridge closed last week will remain shut until at least Wednesday, Falkirk Council have said.

The A905 Kerse Bridge over the River Carron was closed at 2000 GMT on Friday as a "precautionary measure" following an inspection.

The council said specialised access equipment was needed for structural engineers to carry out a complete inspection.

Some bus services have been diverted while the bridge is closed.

Details of changes to bus services are available on the Falkirk Council website.
