Three arrested over alleged hare coursing in Lauder

Three men have been arrested in connection with alleged hare coursing in the Scottish Borders.

It follows an incident on Sunday in the Lauder area when a number of hares were killed.

Police Scotland said three men - aged 36, 28 and 27 - would appear in court at a later date.

Insp Mike Bennett said they would investigate all reports of hare coursing and asked anyone with information to get in touch.
