Man in court over Langholm Royal Bank of Scotland break-in

A man from County Durham has appeared in court following a bank break-in in Langholm last month.

Forty-year-old Russell Snowden, of Durham, appeared on a charge under the Explosive Substances Act.

He was also charged with housebreaking and the offence of opening a lockfast place.

No plea or declaration was made at Dumfries Sheriff Court and he was remanded in custody.
