A large number of lambs and bullocks reported stolen from a field on a farm in Dumfries and Galloway have turned up safe and well.

The total value of the animals at Barrachan near Newton Stewart had been estimated at more then £3,500.

Dozens of texel lambs and six bullocks were thought to have been taken some time between Thursday and Monday.
