Dumfries man Ian Austin identified as Annan crash victim

A Dumfries pensioner has been identified as the victim of a two-vehicle crash on the A75 near Annan on Sunday.

Ian Austin, 83, died in hospital three days after the accident at the junction with the B6357.

He was driving a Honda Jazz which was in collision with an Audi A1.

Police said investigations into the cause of the collision were ongoing and the procurator fiscal had been informed.
