Stena Line weighs up Brexit impact
Ferry operator Stena Line - which runs services from Cairnryan to Belfast - is examining the "potential impacts" of the UK vote to leave the EU.
It said it was working with the Chamber of Shipping to consider the implications for its interests.
The Swedish firm runs services between Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Ireland and northern Europe.
A statement said it was working to "better understand the practical implications of a UK exit from the EU".
"Presently it is unclear what the implications on UK shipping will be as a result of the UK's exit from the EU, equally it is still unknown at what pace companies will need to adopt to the new economic environment," it said.
"We can however give an assurance that Stena Line will not make any short-term business decisions based on the recent referendum result.
"We will carefully analyse the situation and as the impact of Brexit becomes clearer we will review our business accordingly."
