Man charged with murder of Tweedbank pensioner David Farish

A 68-year-old man has been arrested and charged with the murder of a pensioner in the Scottish Borders.

The body of 75-year-old David Farish was found in his home in Broadlea Bank, Tweedbank on Thursday.

A short statement from Police Scotland confirmed a man had been arrested and charged.

It added that he was due to appear at Jedburgh Sheriff Court later this week.
