Kelso hospital ward reopens after norovirus outbreak

A ward at a Borders hospital has reopened after being shut due to an outbreak of norovirus.

A number of patients at Kelso Hospital had been suffering symptoms.

Nursing director Evelyn Rodger said it meant all wards in the region were now open.

However, she said that could "change very quickly" and asked the public to stay away from hospitals for at least 48 hours after experiencing symptoms of the virus.
