Missing man found 'safe and well' in Scottish Borders

Police officers searching for a man who had been reported as missing in the Scottish Borders say he has been found "safe and well".

Paul Thomas, 41, had not been seen since 20:00 on Saturday evening in the Howdenburn Court area of Jedburgh.

He was traced in the town on Sunday morning.

A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed that Mr Thomas had been traced and thanked the public for their help in finding him.
