Police are investigating a "suspicious" fire at the home ground of Gala Fairydean Rovers football club.
Historic photographs and club mementoes were destroyed in the blaze at a hospitality cabin at Netherdale, Galashiels, in the early hours.
Fire crews were called after the fire was reported just before 05:00.
Police are investigating the fire and other acts of vandalism reported nearby, and have appealed for witnesses.
About 30 pennants handed over by visiting teams and club merchandise worth £1,000 were destroyed in the fire, along with furnishings and other equipment.
A club spokesman said: "We are all devastated at what has happened.
"A lot of work went into compiling the photographs and other memorabilia - it is a sad day for the club.
"We would appeal for anyone who has information to contact the police."
Broken glass and debris from the clubrooms was left scattered across the 3G pitch.
Stadium operators Borders Sport and Leisure said the facility would remain closed until further notice while the police investigate and until it is safe to re-open.
